The revised draft precinct plan will be on public exhibition until Wednesday 4 September 2013.
Department of Planning and Infrastructure deputy director general Stephen McIntyre said the precinct will have the potential to deliver at least 1,120 homes, and included provisions for medium-density housing.
“New residents will be close to jobs and public transport at Leppington, which will be a major centre located on the new South West Rail Link,” Mr McIntyre said.
The plan takes into account concerns raised by stakeholders during the exhibition of the previous draft precinct plan last year.
