Beach development sells out
A new beachfront development at Casuarina Beach in northern New South Wales sold out within six months of being offered on the market.
The “First Light” community, developed by Villa World, offered beachfront blocks priced between $500,000 and $675,000 and beachside blocks from $280,000.
First Light development manager Peter Johnson said the high sales rate was driven by increased demand from local buyers and the desirability of the location.
The community is situated 20 metres south of Gold Coast airport and 30 minutes from Byron Bay.
Mr Johnston said residents could benefit from their proximity to the ocean and lifestyle opportunities, such as fishing, swimming, boating and surfing.
"Buyers recognised what an exceptional opportunity First Light presented, with its absolute beachfront blocks and fantastic location close to cafes and shops," Mr Johnston said.
"There's nothing else like it in Casuarina Beach and buyers knew they had to act quickly,” he said.
