New $3m medical centre to boost Two Rocks property market
A new medical centre in the Western Australian suburb of Two Rocks currently under construction is predicted to enhance property prices.
Jupiter Health and Medical Services, a general practitioner group focused on opening medical centres in high-population growth areas, will be opening their 28th centre in Two Rocks and is expected to be open in August.
Co-founder Dr Michael Gendy said the decision behind selecting the suburb was due to its rapid population expansion and its similarity of demographics to that of Mandurah.
“[Two Rocks is] rapidly expanding with young families attracted to an affordable coastal lifestyle they offer. This rapid population expansion of young families as well as downsizers has created a growing demand for brand-new GP medical centres in these areas,” Dr Gendy said.
The new centre will be located in an upcoming social hub located on Breakwater Drive and is planned to have eight doctors and a combined dental practice.
Jarrod Rendell, project director for Atlantis Beach Estate in Two Rocks, said the upcoming medical centre would be another addition to the community infrastructure of the Two Rocks area.
“The new focal point for these vital community facilities at [Two Rocks] will also include Cuddles Child Care Centre, which is currently under construction, and the rapidly expanding Atlantis Beach Baptist College which opened early in 2017,” Mr Rendell said.
“Our research has highlighted that convenient medical services are a key social infrastructure facility required by new residents. We expect the new medical centre and dental practice to prove very popular.
“We are focused on ensuring we are supporting and encouraging new facilities like Jupiter Health into our community as we know it makes [Two Rocks] an even more attractive option.”
