New property-focused social media platform launches
A new online platform that combines a property listing portal and a social media platform has launched.
Realty.com.au, a social media platform that combines elements of a property listing website, has launched on the Central Coast.
The website is aimed towards people who are either buying, renovating or selling a home.
“The goal of Realty.com.au is to inspire and engage homemakers throughout the entire lifecycle of creating a home, whether renting, owning, building, renovating or just re-styling,” a statement from Realty.com.au read.
On the website, users are able to both search for property and review content, products and services aimed towards homemakers. They can then save, share and discuss these elements privately through the platform with family and friends.
Realty.com.au utilises approximately 100 digital media channels, which includes social media and a series of websites based on location in order to give Australians a reason to browse properties for longer than less than hour, which they claim is the average time spent on a property listing website.
“Realty.com.au blends the social and local layers of engagement to reach targeted buyers quickly,” the statement from Realty.com.au read.
In addition to users looking to sell or buy a home, agents and developers can generate “automated shareable elements” out of listings, reviews and content to spread through to other social media platforms.
The service has support across the eastern seaboard of the country ranging from Bondi to Bundaberg, with 500 agencies currently trialing the platform with majority of this stemming from the Central Coast.
