Publishers Australia represents the leading business, consumer, custom and digital publishers in Australia.
Commenting on his appointment to the board, Mr Tarrant said he welcomed the opportunity to collaborate with other key industry stakeholders to help drive the future development of publishing in Australia.
“Publishing has seen enormous change over the past decade; I see great potential for the sector moving forward should it adapt and evolve in line with reader preferences, technology and the demands of new media.
“I look forward to contributing to the growth of the sector and driving a stronger, increasingly dynamic publishing industry,” he said.
Mr Tarrant’s new board position follows his appointment to the Property Investment Professionals of Australia (PIPA) board last month.
According to Mr Tarrant the dual board positions will keep Smart Property Investment abreast of all the latest developments across both industries while offering access to the leading professionals and thought leaders.
“Smart Property Investment is committed to professionalism in publishing; being activity engaged across both industries further strengthens our position to deliver our readers insightful and accurate commentary with an eye on evolution and innovation.”
