So you've got a really tired old kitchen but not much cash? Don't worry. You'll be pleased to know that you can cosmetically renovate your kitchen for under $1000, provided that you're willing to roll up your sleeves and do a lot of the work yourself. You can refresh old kitchens through things like laminate paint, through bench top resurfacing kits, and in particular tile paints. There's also a wonderful array of flooring products. In fact I just did a TV renovation recently where I renovated a while kitchen for under $1000. I even used some flooring called Gerflor, vinyl self adhesive floor planks. Basically stick on floor planks. Looked absolutely wonderful but didn't cost me a lot of cash.
