Taking the bull by its horns in a bearish market

The writing may be on the wall for the property market to witness a bearish market in 2023, but this expert believes there are still ways investors can take the bull by its horns.

In this episode, Smart Property Investment’s Phil Tarrant sits down with Sam Gordon, the director of Australian Property Scout, to talk about how investors can take advantage of a market riddled with fear and uncertainty.

While the pair acknowledge that the rate hikes and other economic pressures, such as inflation, will continue to dampen buying sentiment in the coming year, they also highlight that there are still select markets that can offer positive cash flow and strong capital growth if investors “buy the right property at the right price”.

And while the majority of forecasts for the market in 2023 are skewed to the downside, the duo underline how property will continue to be a reliable building block when it comes to wealth generation for Aussies.
