How this police officer-turned-property investor overcomes any challenge thrown at him
Building wealth is the ultimate goal for most property investors, and it’s no different for police officer Geoff, who reveals that his end goal is to retire early and “not have to be a slave to the wage”.
In this episode, host Phil is joined by investor Geoff who discusses how other people’s investment stories help, as a point of reference, when he considers new properties, and believes the best way to learn is by “getting in there and doing it”.
With a portfolio of eight properties and the intention of growing more, this investor talks about the challenges he and his wife faced early on by rentvesting after they received a termination letter right before their baby was born, and how they managed to overcome this situation and achieved their goals.
They will also discuss APRA’s guidelines and interest rates, why he chose to invest interstate and how he manages his growth inconsistency.
