From needing a loan for a bus ticket to regular first class flights
Mark Shearwood remembers a day where he set up a stall selling buddha statues thinking that this was the way that he was going to make his millions. The day ended with his stall being rained out and him not being able to afford a bus ticket home. Flash forward to today and Mark is retired, and flying business class on regular overseas holidays with a thriving property portfolio.
Mark sits down with host Phil Tarrant to explain how he transformed his life through property investment and to discuss how luck has had very little to do with his lifestyle change. He will share why he puts such high importance on research and due diligence and discuss how he keeps on top of his finances.
The pair will also investigate the current Australian property market, how low income should not be an inhibitor to being an investor - and Mark will share his thoughts on why Brisbane is a smart investment decision in the current market.
