Top ACT rental yield suburbs October 2015
Figures from CoreLogic RP Data reveal that the furthest suburb from the CBD to make the list, Richardson, took a place in both the highest yielding units and houses, with a yield of 5.6 and 4.9 per cent respectively.

A cluster of suburbs north-west of the CBD obtained yields of over five per cent each, being Charnwood, Higgins, Holt and Macgregor.
Northern Canberra saw Crace with 6.0 per cent for units and Ngunnawal with 4.9 per cent for houses to secure a spot in the top 10 for highest-yielding suburbs.
Just 10 kilometres from the CBD, suburb Phillip achieved a 5.9 per cent yield for units, with a number of amenities offering convenience to tenants of the suburb.
Hackett made the list for top yields in ACT, a neighbouring suburb of Ainslie which featured in the top 10 list for quarterly median price growth.
While the ACT’s top-yielding suburbs list doesn’t boast the high numbers of neighbouring state New South Wales – the territory’s suburbs are less likely to be affected by seasonal fluctuations and holiday rental figures.
