Top 10 Adelaide suburbs for price growth in 2021
The Real Estate Institute of South Australia (REISA) has recently released data for the December 2021 quarter that clearly shows it’s one of the top markets to watch.
REISA’s research, based on residential property sales data from the valuer-general, shows a year-on-year median price increase for 334 of 368 (over 90 per cent) suburbs in Greater Adelaide.

Speaking of the phenomenal growth, REISA chief executive Barry Money said: “Can you believe that 90 per cent of that 90 per cent – or 302 out of 334 suburbs – have in fact grown in median price in double-digit percentage terms?”
The research also found the December quarter saw a sharp rise in South Australia’s median house price by 16.78 per cent, reaching a new high of $515,000. Similarly, the median price of units and apartments increased by approximately 8 per cent.
For metro Adelaide, Mr Money reported a “17.58 per cent increase in the median house price year-on-year”, with some suburbs recording increases of more than 100 per cent.
